Founded on April 1, 1994, HALKA GmbH has grown into an internationally recognized company, deeply rooted in Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia. We pride ourselves on employing a team of 55 highly experienced and skilled workers, ensuring exceptional quality and service in all our projects. As a registered training company in the craft sector, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of professionals.
Our founder and managing director brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to HALKA GmbH. After earning a university degree in economics, he dedicated 35 years to the refractory field. His career began in 1979 at Babcock Sonderbau GmbH, where he quickly advanced to the role of construction manager, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of large refractory plants. In 1994, he took a bold step and established HALKA Feuerungsbau GmbH. By 1997, he had successfully passed the master examination in “refractory and chimney construction” at the Chamber of Crafts in Dortmund, further solidifying his expertise.
